Stephen Stills net worth: Stephen Stills is an American musician and songwriter with a net worth of $20 million dollars. Born in Dallas, Texas, Stephen Stills moved around a great deal during childhood, as he was part of a military family. He began studying guitar and developed an affinity for blues, folk, and Latin music. After graduating from high school in Florida, he went on to attend Louisiana State University. He chose to drop out, however, in order to focus on a career in music full-time. He performed with multiple groups throughout the early 60s, eventually performing with a nine-member vocal ensemble at Caf? Au Go Go in New York City. The Au Go Go Singers disbanded after one year, and five of the members formed The Company. While The Company was on tour in Canada, Stephen Stills met Neil Young. After returning to the US, Stills, Richie Furay, and Neil Young, formed the foundation of the group, Buffalo Springfield. After Buffalo Springfield dissolved, they formed Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. CSNY was very successful, and Mr. Stills continues to perform with various permutations of the quartet, as well as a solo artist.
